Keeping a Model Y’s white interior white.

The white interior is one of the best-looking options on a Model Y, and one of the least forgiving. Every shoe scuff on the sills, every handprint on the seats, and every splash of road grime along the rocker panels shows up right away.

This one had all three. The door sills carried dried dirt from daily in-and-out traffic, the white seats had picked up smudges and crumbs, and mud had streaked the lower doors. We worked through each surface with the patience white upholstery needs, so it comes back even instead of blotchy.

Outside, the white paint was hand washed and the wheels cleaned, so the whole car reads crisp again in the driveway. And yes, the cabin stayed cool the entire time. Working inside a Tesla with the AC running is a nice perk in a Cedar Park October.
