Three spots where a Silver detail shows most on a white Lexus with a cream interior.
Keeping a white RX 350 spotless.
White paint and a cream interior look great when they're clean and show every flaw when they aren't. That is what makes this kind of car a good fit for a hand detail. Nothing gets glossed over.
The exterior got a careful hand wash, with attention to the door seams, the grille, and the lower panels where road film collects. The multi-spoke wheels were cleaned one spoke at a time, since brake dust hides in the corners.
Inside, the cream leather and black trim were wiped down by hand, from the door panels to the rear bench, and the carpet and cargo area were vacuumed deep. The result is a cabin that reads fresh the moment the door opens.
What the Silver detail included
- Hand-washed exterior with the wheels cleaned and the tires dressed
- Door jambs wiped and the paint's gloss refreshed
- Seats, carpet, and cargo area vacuumed thoroughly
- Interior upholstery cleaned, dash and vents wiped
- Glass finished streak-free
