Even a nearly new Lexus collects dust, pollen, and the everyday grit of Austin driving. On a black NX with gloss black wheels, all of that sits right on the surface, so this one was about getting the finish back to the deep, reflective black the car came with.
The exterior got a full hand wash, the wheels and tires were cleaned and dressed, and the gloss refresh left the hood clear enough to reflect the branches overhead. Door jambs were wiped out so the clean carries past the paint.
Inside, the red leather is the star. Both rows were vacuumed and cleaned, the console and dash were wiped down without leaving shine on the matte trim, and the cargo area got the same treatment as the cabin.
