A new Explorer Platinum doesn't need rescuing. It needs someone who notices the little things. This one came in for our Silver package, and the work went well past the obvious panels.
Outside, the silver paint was washed by hand and given a gloss refresh, the two-tone wheels and tires were cleaned and dressed, and the door jambs, strikers, and even the fuel door were wiped out. Those are the spots a drive-through wash never touches.
Inside, the brown leather and quilted door panels were wiped down, the front seats and second-row captain's chairs were vacuumed seam to seam, and the dash, screens, and glass were cleaned streak-free. The owner's reaction said it best: it was cleaned the way they'd clean their own car.
