BMW X3 Silver detail highlights.
No before shots on this one, just the finish. Three angles that show what a Silver hand wash and interior clean do for a white SUV with a black cabin.
Making a white X3 shine on a cloudy day.
White paint hides nothing. Road film, brake dust, and the gray haze that settles on a daily driver all show up on a white SUV, and a cloudy sky usually makes that worse. This X3 came out the other side of its Silver detail with panels bright enough to hold a reflection of the trees overhead, no sunshine required.
The black wheels got as much attention as the paint. Brake dust collects in the deep spokes of this wheel design, so each face and barrel was cleaned before the tires were dressed to a satin black that frames the white body.
Inside, the dark leather and black carpet were the other half of the story. Dark interiors show every crumb and every dusty vent, so the cabin was vacuumed seat to floor, the dash and center console were wiped down, and the glass was finished streak-free so the cockpit reads crisp from the driver's seat.
What the Silver detail covered on this X3
- Exterior hand wash and a paint gloss refresh
- Wheels and tires cleaned, tires dressed
- Door jambs wiped out
- Deep vacuum of seats, carpet, and cargo area
- Dash, console, and vent wipe-down
- Streak-free glass inside and out
