Acura ZDX Gold detail highlights.

Gold adds paint hydration, leather conditioning, and carpet shampoo and steam to the full Silver clean. Here's what that looked like on this electric SUV in Austin.

Hood of the Acura ZDX after paint hydration, with clouds and sky reflecting clearly in the black finish — **Hydrated black paint** After the hand wash, a paint hydrator brought the depth back and left a slick, protected finish.

Close-up of an Acura ZDX two-tone wheel after cleaning, showing a bright yellow brake caliper and a dressed tire — **Wheels and yellow calipers** Brake dust cleaned off the two-tone wheels so the yellow calipers stand out.

Passenger side of the ZDX cabin after cleaning, with conditioned leather, a wiped-down console, and fresh floor carpet — **Conditioned leather** Seats cleaned, then conditioned so the black leather stays soft through the Texas heat.

Open hood of the electric Acura ZDX showing the front compartment and cover wiped down and free of dust — **Under the hood** The front compartment got a wipe-down too, so it looks as cared for as the rest of the car.

Acura ZDX carpet floor mats laid out on the floor after shampoo and steam, with an even, clean black pile — **Shampooed mats** Carpet mats pulled out, shampooed, and steamed until the pile looked even and clean again.

We take care of electric cars, too. An EV doesn't need oil changes, but its paint, wheels, and leather wear the same way any other car's do, and a black finish like this one shows every bit of it. This 2024 ZDX got our Gold detail, the most complete package we offer today.

Outside, the paint was hand washed and then treated with a paint hydrator, which restores depth and adds a layer of protection against weather. The two-tone wheels were cleaned so the yellow brake calipers pop, and the area under the hood was wiped down while we were there.

Inside, Gold goes further than a standard clean. The black leather was cleaned and conditioned, the carpet and floor mats were shampooed and steamed, and the wide digital dash, console, and cargo area were wiped down to finish the job.
